Whether you’d like to create handwritten cards for loved ones, add a personal touch for special occasions like weddings, or simply experiencing a new creative ritual that helps you slow down and enjoy the process of calligraphic writing, this workshop is for you!
What to expect?
In this beginner-friendly session, we will break down the fundamentals of calligraphy that bring elegant lettering to life.
You’ll be guided through the essential tools and techniques: learn how to use an oblique holder, work with a flexible nib, control pressure, and practice the basic strokes that shape Copperplate calligraphy letterforms.
We will explore common mistakes and show you practical ways to improve consistency and rhythm in your writing. By the end of the workshop, you will create your own beautifully lettered piece and leave with skills you can continue to develop at home.
